The Entertainment Software Association recently announced the dates for next year’s E3 2021.
E3 2021 official dates finally released
E3 2020 was recently announced canceled which devastated a lot of fans and gaming companies. Many were wondering if next year there would be another E3 event. Despite of what is going on with the COVID 19 Pandemic crisis right now, ESA announced ahead the dates for the E3 event next year. They are planning to go ahead with the show, which will be on June 15-17, 2021.
The E3 event next year will be preceded with pre-E3 conferences like the previous years and will be hosted by major publishers. ESA also promised that the next show will be a reimagined version, but did not give details on difference.
Several major companies did say that they might consider having online events to showcase their products. These gaming companies are Microsoft, Devolver Digital, and Ubisoft. Bethesda announced they are not doing one this year.
E3 2020 Online experience not happening
An E3 representative recently gave a statement announcing that there will be no online experience that would replace this year’s show. The rep stated that it is due to the COVID-19 pandemic that they had to cancel. They will instead support other exhibitors to promote and showcase their own company announcements.
