Game publisher Ubisoft has recently confirmed that upcoming video game Far Cry 5 will have microtransactions. They also revealed another important factor concerning the game, which is related to the campaign.
Far Cry 5 progress can be sped up with payments
Ubisoft has recently confirmed with GameSpot that the upcoming fifth title of the popular franchise will include microtransactions. Executive producer Dan Hay assured the fans that these payments will all be worth it and that they will not be a waste of time. He confirmed that no content will be locked away as well as players being rewarded for their exploration.
The game company revealed that players will be able to speed up their progress with the microtransactions feature. This could possibly lead to the game becoming similar to other titles under the company like the Assassin’s Creed franchise and its Time Saver Packs; with players having the freedom to purchase them or not.

Campaigns will be playable offline
Ubisoft happily confirmed that the full campaign of the video game will be available offline. Players will not be required to connect to the internet in order to play the game’s story mode, unlike other recent games. The company also explained that if players would like to experience the co-op mode, then they should check out the game’s online features.
