Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PS5 Exclusivity Only Limited

It could get a PC port just like its predecessor or it might even come to the "green side".

Square Enix and Sony Interactive Entertainment have confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PS5 exclusivity is only limited.

The upcoming and most anticipated RPG Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been revealed to be exclusive to the 9th generation PlayStation console. During the latest State of Play, a note revealed that the PS5 exclusive is “not available on other formats at least until May 29, 2024.”

The release date of the game is set for February 29, 2024, which means it is guaranteed to be PS5 exclusive for at least three months.

The original game, Final Fantasy VII Remake was released in April 2020 first exclusive on PS4 which was then enhanced to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for the PS5 in June 2021. It was then ported on PC later that year in December 2021.

Aside from the PS5 exclusivity, Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura revealed in an interview with PlayStation Blog the location where the upcoming video game will end.

“Although there are some changes in the order of the locations, the locations depicted in this title extend up to The Forgotten Capital, where the greatest fate of Final Fantasy VII awaits you,” Nomura revealed.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches on February 24, 2024 on PS5.
