Final Fantasy VII Remake and Intergrade Sells Millions of Copies Worldwide

Still does not topple the current record-holder of biggest sales of the FF series.

Square Enix has recently announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake and Intergrade have collectively sold millions of copies worldwide, reaching a new milestone.

According to the latest Twitter post, the game company thanked everyone and revealed the game has now sold over 7 million copies. The original version Final Fantasy VII Remake first launched in April 2020 exclusively on PS4 gaining lots of sales already. Then in June 2021, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released on PS5 and then PC in December 2021. After three years, 7 million copies getting sold is definitely possible.

Do note that Final Fantasy XV, which launched on both PS4 and Xbox One way back in 2016 sold 5 million copies on day one. It is, by far, the fastest-selling game in the history of the series. Not even the classics could compare. By 2022, it was revealed that it had sold 10 million copies worldwide.

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Intergrade are out now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
