Game Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida recently got interviewed with media outlet VG247 and talked about how his team plans to keep Final Fantasy XIV players lower-level experience more engaging.
Yoshida revealed that the time players spend in the lower levels is what affects the lower-level experience engagement. What the team does is to change the experience so that they do not forcefully have to grind away in battles. This will make them progress more comfortably as they level up rapidly and learn new actions.
The game director assures the fans that the team is always fine-tuning the required time and EXP balance for each level tier. This allows players to enjoy their time in lower levels quite fairly.
Yoshida did say that they are constantly looking for ways so that players will not get bored too quickly due to fast game experience or too busy.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PS5.
