The Final Fantasy XIV log in problems are still continuing with its Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida apologizing to the public once again.
Last December 3, 2021, Square Enix launched FFXIV expansion Endwalker for early access and the full launch on December 7, 2021. During those times, players have experienced long queue times to log into their servers even though they waited very long. Yoshida has posted another apology to the fans for the inconvenience they have caused.
“We apologize for the huge inconvenience caused to players by the extremely high levels of congestion in each World since Early Access and the official launch of Endwalker,” said Yoshida on a new post on the Lodestone website.
The post notes that there are still large numbers of players joining in the fight, but there has been a slightly lower number of players this time around compared to the one that peaked to its highest.
Queue times have now increased due to the number of errors that have caused dropouts from the game. The dev team has also increased the login queue cap.
“We are currently working to address various issues while maintaining our strengthened 24-hour support systems,” said Yoshida in the latest post.
The reason for the big congestion in logging into FFXIV was due to Square Enix not able to secure new servers that could accommodate the new influx of players. Now, long lineups to log in can be seen online.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC.
