Square Enix has announced new information on Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2 Buried Memory.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2 is Buried Memory
Details about the upcoming patch 6.2 Buried Memory were shared during the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast. It also included new information about the highly-anticipated Island Sanctuary content.
Patch 6.2 is planned to launch in late August 2022. It will include a lot of new content including the latest chapter in the main story, fresh battle challenges, system updates, and more.
Island Sanctuary Need-to-Knows
Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida explained how Island Sanctuary would work and what adventures lie in store. Players will be able to build their own personal island sanctuary where they can gather materials, build facilities, care for creatures, and more. The best part is they will not need any experience of crafting or gathering. Completing various content in the Island Sanctuary will yield island currency which can be exchanged for special items.
