Square Enix has now confirmed that there will be a new Final Fantasy XVI trailer, which could be released in the next month or so.
Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida recently spoke at the Tokyo Games Show 2022 and finally made the announcement. He confirmed that there will be a new trailer for the most anticipated game but said it could happen next month or in the next few more. Depends on the situation.
“I haven’t gotten a chance to talk to the marketing or public relations teams at all, so I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to say, but I think we’ll probably be able to release the next trailer next month or so,” Yoshida revealed. “And after that, I hope to be able to give a rough idea of when it will be released.”
Yoshida revealed that there are still a lot of things to do. While the visuals are complete and the game is now playable from start to finish, the sound portion still needs a lot of work. There is so much to do that the sound team complained, according to him. He also revealed that there are options that are going to be added that will help accommodate players who do not like action gameplay.
Final Fantasy XVI is still in development for PS5. It currently has a Summer 2023 release window.
