Game company Epic Games has officially launched the new Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal for popular battle royale video game Fortnite and here is what is happening and what is new.
Agent Jones and The Foundation have successfully sealed the Zero Point in a Tower of Stone just recently at the Zero Crisis Finale. The only problem was that the Zero Point suddenly sent a mysterious pulse across the island. The effect was like an EMP, which in layman’s terms, it turned off all technology in its path. This also transformed the island into something… wild. Primal.
A new biome has appeared and it is called the Primal biome. It is untouched by modern technology and its center is the Spire and the village that surrounds it. Surrounding is the wilderness that has grown overnight. Players will see overgrown crops and boney burbs along the way and at the edges of the biome are the Guardian Spires that are protected by some mysterious force that no one can explain.
Players can now craft their own weapons from the loot they get from the wildlife and the technology that was untouched by the mysterious Pulse. Several primal weapons can be crafted like the Primal Rifle, revolver, and various bows that fire flame and metal arrows.
There are different kinds of wildlife roaming around the island now and they can either be hunted or tamed. They range from chickens to monstrous and predatory wolves. Later one, there will be more vicious animals to hunt or tame.
There are bunker chests that can be discovered all over the island and will contain some powerful weapons that can range from rare to legendary. When the season progresses, so does the advancements will come for weapons and upgrades.
For the new Battle Pass, it contains several new skins to try out including Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft and Raven. Agent Jones turns from formal suit attire to survival look, while Lara gets a classic skin for nostalgia lovers. Also, Neymar Jr. is coming later.
Fortnite is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
