PlayStation Production has recently released the new Gran Turismo Movie trailer showcasing the protagonist’s training.
Gran Turismo movie is based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough who won the GT Academy eSports tournament in 2011. He then became a professional car racer who competes in the Japanese Super GT series.
Archie Madekwe will be playing Mardenborough in the upcoming film. Famous actors Orlando Bloom, David Harbour, Djimon Hounsou, and Geri Horner are also joining in.
The movie is directed by Neill Blomkamp and written by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin. Blomkamp has directed other films like Demonic, Chappie, Elysium, and District 9, Hall wrote American Sniper, and Baylin wrote King Richard.
The film’s producers are PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan. Executive Producer is none other than the Gran Turismo creator and Polyphony Digital head Kazunori Yamauchi.
