Game studio Arc System Works has recently put up a notification on the Steam version of Guilty Gear Strive in regards to a certain resolution.
The developers posted a note on Steam today in preparation for the launch of the game. While it supports 4k resolution easily, it has an issue where players experience severe slowdowns during specific situations in battle especially counter-hitting. It also happens in scenes in Story Mode.
There is a fix on the way, assured the developers, but they still advice players not to launch the game on 4k resolution for online gameplay for now. They also shared that setting the graphics quality to the lowest does help fix the issue a bit on 4k resolution, if they still want to do that.
Guilty Gear Strive launches today on PC, PlayStation 4, and PS5.
