HoYoVerse has recently released the new pull art for Imbibitor Lunae and details.
Imbibitor Lunae is a new 5-Star character in Honkai: Star Rail. HoYoVerse usually introduces its upcoming playable characters in advance so he will likely be one of the two new units that can be pulled from the gacha in Version 1.3. Imbibitor Lunae is an Imaginary Destruction character.
For players of Honkai: Star Rail, it is clear that Imbibitor Lunae is the secret persona of Astral Express’ party member Dan Heng. The description says that he is the High Elder of the Luofu and carries on the Azure Dragon’s legacy. His job was to guard the Ambrosial Arbor. It was also revealed that he caused something terrible and had to leave. He then stumbled on the Astral Express and hid this personality to become Dan Heng.
Imbibitor Lunae will be a separate unit in-game but the same character in the story. If the story is to be followed, it will be just like a different skin for Dan Heng, but if he is going to be part of the party, he will be a different character. Dan Heng and him can be in the same party in a battle.
It is expected that this character will be released on version 1.3.
