Who is Jingliu in Honkai Star Rail
Jingliu is a 5-star character in Honkai Star Rail whose element is Ice and her path of Resonance is Destruction. Players will encounter her during the Companion Mission of Yanqing, “Frosty Blade’s Trial.” She was once a sword master in Xianzhou and Jing Yuan’s teacher but went mad after being affected by the Mara and nearly destroying the entirety of the Cloud Knights.
During battles in the game, Jingliu is an excellent DPS character with little problems using her. With her skill, “Transcendent Flash” being her main ammo in the game, she can deal ICE DMG equal to her ATK to a single enemy and obtain 1 stack of Syzygy. If there are two stacks of Syzygy, Jingliu will enter a state known as Crescent Transmigration in which she will get an extra turn and her CRT rate will increase. During this phase, she can unleash a powerful AOE attack at a cost of 1 stack of Syzgy and 4% of her allies’ HP as well. Her Ultimate is known as Florephemeral Dreamflux which can deal a ton of CRT DMG to a single enemy including those who are adjacent to it plus Jingliu will gain 1 stack of Syzygy in the end.

Players can summon her alongside other known 4-star characters such as Qingque, Sampo, and Tingyun in the summon banner known as the Gentle Eclipse of the Moon. This summon banner will last until October 27, 2023, around 11:59 GMT+8.

Most of these materials can be found easily by doing the Calyx and Stagnant missions. For the Gelid Chitin, players can get this important material by doing the Stagnant mission: Stagnant Shadow: Shape of the Icicle, where players should bring at least a Pyro, Wind, and Quantumn-type character to defeat such challenging boss or use the Synthesizer to procure this rare material. As for the Immortal Scionette, Aeroblossoms, and Lumintwigs, they can be easily farmed by fighting off Mara-Struck Soldiers in Cloudford, doing Simulated Universe, using the Omni-Synthesizer, using the Embers Exchange, and completing the Assignment Rewards.

Best Light Cones to Equip for Jingliu
- I Shall Be My Own Sword
- This light cone is currently the best light cone to equip as it can increase the user’s CRIT DMG by 20~32%. When an ally gets attacked or loses HP, the wearer gains 1 stack of Eclipse, up to a max of 3 stacks. Each stack of Eclipse increases the DMG of the wearer’s next attack by 14.0~24.0%. When 3 stacks are reached, additionally enables the attack to ignore 12~20% of the enemy’s DEF. This effect will be removed after the wearer uses an attack.
- Under The Blue Sky
- This Light cone is an alternative to use if players don’t have the 1st one as it can increase the user’s ATK by 16-23% and when the user defeats an enemy, the user’s CRT rate increases by 12-24% for 3 turns
Best Relics to Equip for Jingliu
- Hunter of Glacial Forest & Rutilant Arena
- This relic set is considered to be one of the most powerful and worthy relics to use especially for ICE-type characters. If 2 pieces of the set are equipped, the user’s ICE DMG increases by 10%, and if 4 pieces of the set are equipped and a user’s ULTIMATE is unleashed, her CRT DMG increases by 25% for 2 turns. With the Rutilant Arena set as Jingliu’s Planar Ornaments, her CRT rate will increase by 8% and her Basic ATK and Skill DMG will increase by 20% if her CRT rate reaches 70% or higher.
