Forza Motorsport is set to launch on October 10, 2023, and with multiple editions available for pre-order, each offering unique bonuses and packages, players are eager to know if early access is on the cards. Fortunately, there are a few simple methods to access the track racing game ahead of launch. Here’s how to play Forza Motorsport early.
How to play Forza Motorsport ahead of launch
You can play Forza Motorsport on October 5, 2023, five days earlier than the general October 10 release date, if you purchase the Premium Edition or Premium Add-Ons Bundle of the game.
The Deluxe Edition and Standard Edition, including game pass owners, initially won’t be able to play ahead of schedule, but purchasing the Premium Add-ons Bundle, which costs $39.99|£29.99, will grant you the 5-day access benefit. Instead of paying $99.99|£89.99 for the standard Premium version, this is a much cheaper choice, especially for people who have Xbox Game Pass.
The Premium Edition and Add-Ons Bundle for Forza Motorsport does give early access, but it does so much more. They have extra material that gives players Car Packs, a Car Pass, and a VIP membership that gives players extra credit boost, modified custom cars, and other exclusives.
How to Play Forza Motorsport Early with New Zealand Trick
Due to the game releasing on different time zones, you can use the New Zealand trick to play Forza Motorsport early. Simply change your Xbox console’s region to Auckland, Wellington to play Forza Motorsport 8 hours early of Pacific Time (PT).
On the Xbox console, go to Settings > System > Time to use the New Zealand Trick. Choose UTC+12 Auckland, Wellington, and then restart your console. When Forza Motorsport comes out in New Zealand, you’ll be able to play it early on Xbox consoles.
Sadly, you can’t use the New Zealand trick to play Forza Motorsport early on PC. Unlike consoles, PC Forza Motorsport launches at different times and isn’t set up as local. You won’t get any different results by changing your PC’s region.
Once you change the region to New Zealand, you can then start playing Forza Motorsport on October 4, as early as 4 PM PT (12 AM in New Zealand), which is 8 hours earlier than scheduled.
