Geoff Keighley, the Gamescom host, and producer, isn’t stopping teasing us with exciting details about the upcoming event that will happen next week. In this latest tweet, Keighley shared the highly-anticipated LEGO Star Wars game will be at the event next week during Open Night Live on August 25 at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM ET.
TT Games announced way back in April this year that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was delayed due to the challenges the team faced during the pandemic, and they reassured the fans they will give a meaningful update when the game will launch.
This world premiere may or may not include a release date, but surely TT Games might be ready to give us at least a release window if not a specific launch date. It’s also possible we may get to see a roadmap of updates for additional downloadable content like The Mandalorian or The Bad Batch, however, TT Games hasn’t shared any tease or even a glimpse of what we can expect next week.
The game will let players choose the order they want to play the entire Star Wars saga, may it be starting in the Original Trilogy where we see Luke or play throughout the entire Clone Wars era first. It’s also reported that there are 300 playable characters and said there are about 800 unique characters that will be in the game.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will make its appearance next week during Gamescom, and we’re hoping to see a release date be announced. The game is expected to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
