Square Enix has recently announced that the award-winning HD-2D RPG Live A Live is getting released on more platforms next month.
Live A Live will be available on PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam on April 27, 2023. The game initially launched on Nintendo Switch last year.
The game is a story-driven HD-2D RPG from Team Asano, the guys behind top RPG hits like Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default II, and Triangle Strategy.
Live A Live offers the freedom to explore eight different stories with eight characters, each set within different periods spanning from a pre-historic era to the Wild West and more. Each chapter is unique and offers players various gameplay mechanics to master like stealth, suspense and trap placement, and more. All of the episodes will be centered around the game’s turn based battle system.
There is also a free playable demo available to download today. Players will be able to play the opening sections of three of the eight stories in the game which are The Wild West, Twilight of Edo Japan, and The Distant Future. After purchasing the game, players will be able to carry over their saved progress to the full version of the game, allowing them to continue their journey.
