Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater looks spectacular in new gameplay video

Konami took the opportunity to showcase the upcoming remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview earlier. Titled as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, initially developed by Hideo Kojima in 2004, the game looks spectacular running on Unreal Engine 5.

As Naked Snake moves across the lush environment, the grass sways and reacts to the polygons of our beloved protagonist. The video also features a new lighting system that illuminates the reflections almost realistically on surfaces, all made possible with Unreal Engine.

By the looks of the showcase video of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the game is remade from the ground up, still retaining its core gameplay mechanics from the 2004 version. We hope to see how well this mechanic will fare during its launch with updated elements that would make its gameplay appealing to newcomers.

In other news, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 just recently released for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is expected to launch various platforms soon.
