During the launch of Monster Hunter: World last week, just like most games that are multiplayer-focused, there were apparently issues experienced by players when trying to join sessions. Now, Capcom released a patch that would eventually fix the problems for both platforms, the PS4 and Xbox One.
The latest patch, 1.03 (PS4) and 1.0.0.8 (Xbox One), is supposed to fix all connectivity issues when joining a session. Apparently, after this was announced over at Monster Hunter’s official Twitter page, players are giving feedback that they still have the problem at hand.

The PS4 patch also addresses some other issues with the Hunting Horn and bugs with gathering points and bounties. You can check the full patch notes below:

Major changes for Xbox One:
Fixed all matchmaking functionality issues for Xbox One players, including “Matchmake”, “Filter Search”, “Squad Sessions Session” and “Respond to SOS”.
Major changes for PS4 and Xbox One:
Fixed a rare issue with gathering points and bounties not working correctly; points counter were not updating correctly.
Fixed two issues with the Hunting Horn:
- Players would sometimes be unable to dodge-cancel while playing an Encore;
- The initial shockwave blast when playing a song sometimes wouldn’t happen.[/alert]
