The most anticipated trailer for the second season of Netflix’s The Witcher live-action series is finally here and it tells a lot.
The latest trailer showcases a lot more detail about the upcoming second season than the teaser videos that they dropped a while back. It now features Geralt in his new armor, new monsters, his new drinking buddy with a head of a hog, Yennefer, and young Ciri now looking better with lighter clothes and a sword. It is not a big, long sword, but good hunk of metal enough to kill a man.
This will be about Ciri’s training to become a good swordsman and possibly becoming a Witcher herself, Yennefer’s struggle with The Lodge, and we also see a new villain who seems to wield the magical arts. It is a compilation of short clips from different episodes stitched together to make one confusing trailer, but it should be clear once The Witcher Season 2 debuts on Decembers 17, 2021 on Netflix.
Also, we finally get to see Jaskier aka the bold and dashing Dandelion, ready to make happy banter with Geralt.
