Microsoft rolled out the new Xbox Home on all Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles today.

Brand New Xbox Home Available in Latest Update

A new update for all Xbox consoles has recently rolled out today and it introduces the brand new Home experience. According to the newest post on the Xbox Wire, it is designed from player feedback and makes it easier to discover new games, rediscover games that players love, connect with communities, and create a more personalized experience.

The first change for the new Xbox Home introduces a quick access menu. It makes it easy to go to access the Library, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass, Search, and Settings at the very top of the Home.

The layout has now been simplified to create more space for the player’s personalized background. The update puts the games that were recently played and other content and app on the bottom of the screen.

Another change is the addition of an option to change the background to match the game players are highlighting in the recently played list. It also introduced a list of games curated and personalized for them. This improves the game discovery for the players.

Players can now pin their favorite games, curated groups, and system groups like Quick Resume to Home. This allows them to customize their experience.

The Friends and Community updates row has been updated. This helps players find out what is going on in the community easily. Watch and Listen spotlight and a list of entertainment apps have been added which shows players what media apps and content are available.
