Rumor has it that the popular video stream of Nintendo Direct might not happen this coming June due to a certain world crisis situation.

Many fans were expecting for a new video coming this coming June because E3 2020 has been cancelled. It would make sense that Nintendo would make their own show to feature their upcoming games.
A report coming from VentureBeat did say otherwise. The regular video presentation might not happen soon due to the COVID-19 pandemic happening all over the world including the home base of the game company, Japan. The rumor states that the company has told its partners that it will not hold the presentation due to the complications of the working from home order implemented by the country. It did say that it might show the next presentation sometime this coming summer.
Nintendo has not come forth to confirm these rumors. So as always, take this with a grain of salt, but with what is happening in Japan and the rest of the world, this is possible.
