In a recent announcement on the official Japanese Nintendo site, the game company officially revealed another 140,000 or more accounts might have been accessed illegally by an outside source last April.
Nintendo confirmed that another 140,000 may have been breached and add that total to the previous one, which was 160,000, this amounts to 300,000 accounts or more. They did point out that this is just one percent of all the Nintendo Network ID users.
The game company already contacted the users that got breached and reimbursed them if they had unauthorized purchases.
