Game Freak has recently announced the new expansion Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is the First Expansion
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is a new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC which will take fans deeper into the world. This expansion will have two parts: Part 1 The Teal Mask launching in Fall 2023 and Part 2 The Indigo Disk launching at a later date. The expansion can now be pre-purchased on Nintendo eShop.

I sincerely hope that Trainers who embark on this new journey find the same excitement and joy they experienced when they encountered their first Pokémon.”
Expansion Has Two Parts
Part 1 The Teal Mask will have players be chosen to take part in a school trip that will be held each year in collaboration with another school. They will be going to the land of Kitakami, where a great mountain towers over the land and the people living at its base. It is a place with natural expanses featuring rice paddies and apple orchards. The trip will coincide with the festival regular held in the village in Kitakami during the season, which will make the village bustling with various street vendors and stalls. They will meet with new friends and Pokémon along the way as they unravel the mysteries behind the folktales.
In this expansion, players will get to encounter over 230 familiar Pokémon that have been living in other regions but did not appear in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This includes the Pokémon that players will be able to bring to their games via Pokémon HOME or in trades. They will also encounter new Legendary Pokémon – Ogerpon in Part 1: The Teal Mask, and Terapagos in Part 2: The Indigo Disk. Part 1 will also feature three Pokémon called the Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.
Pre-Purchase to Get Special Gift
Players who will purchase Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero by Tuesday, October 31, 2023 will get a serial code for a special gift: Hisuian Zoroark with three special features which are Happy Hour, Tera Blast, Bitter Malice, and Nasty Plot. The code will be valid until Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are out now on Nintendo Switch.
