FuturLab has recently announced that PowerWash Simulator has now reached a new milestone.
The surprise indie hit PowerWash Simulator has now reached a huge seven million players, which is double the player count in the last six months. After various collaborations with famous games like Final Fantasy VII Remake, the player count would definitely have increased.
Kirsty Rigden, Co-CEO, FuturLab said: “With over 7 million players, we are honored that so many people have found their zen with PowerWash Simulator. The strength in our community is palpable. Since we launched into Early Access, the support for our soothing sim has been immense, and we are extremely grateful that this has continued to strengthen past release.”
It was also revealed that FuturLab has now appointed industry veteran Steve Tinkler as the new Chief Financial Officer at the studio.
When discussing his appointment Steve Tinkler said: “FuturLab has some incredibly exciting plans. I’m delighted to be working with James Marsden, Kirsty Rigden, Chris Mehers and the team to help support the next phase of our growth.”
Chris Mehers, COO, FuturLab said: “Having someone of Steve’s calibre and experience joining us as CFO is yet another sign of the strides we’re taking as a fast growing self-funded studio and speaks to the ambition we have for the years to come.”
