CAPCOM has recently released the latest Resident Evil 4 Remake update but as a result, it has now removed one helpful glitch for speedrunning.

A new update was recently released for Resident Evil 4 Remake, which comes with a handful of helpful fixes for the game. While more fixes are helpful to make gaming immersion better, this batch unfortunately has removed one of the game’s most helpful glitches for speedrunning the game.

This glitch allows players to warp through walls when using the scope in certain areas, letting speedrunners shortcut their way through doors. With this new update, it has been removed.

The update does fix an issue where some items become unobtainable after certain actions. It becomes available again with this helpful update.
