The Resident Evil Death Island trailer is finally here and it features all of the major characters from the popular horror survival franchise.
Produced by Quebico and famous anime studio TMS Entertainment, Resident Evil Death Island will be in theaters in Japan first on July 7, 2023. It will be distributed worldwide at a later time by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. No release date confirmed yet, unfortunately.
Death Island will be the first film and the first time that all of the five major characters of the Resident Evil franchise (before Biohazard) have come together to work as one team. This also marks the first time that Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine worked together.
Other characters joining the two are the two siblings Chris and Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers, a familiar face from Resident Evil 1.
Resident Evil Death Island is the fourth animated Resident Evil movie. This is also the fourth time that Leon is featured as a protagonist in a film. According to reports, this will take place between the events of Resident Evil 6 and 7 and will be set after the third movie, Resident Evil Vendetta.
