Capcom has released a new Resident Evil Requiem trailer in partnership with Nvidia, offering another look at the upcoming survival horror title — and teasing what appears to be a significant new environment not previously shown.
The footage, created to highlight advanced PC features such as path tracing and lighting technology, briefly showcases a large urban-style setting that suggests Resident Evil Requiem may feature more expansive areas than earlier entries. While Capcom has not officially named the location, the environment stands out as a notable departure from the series’ traditionally confined spaces.
The trailer has fueled discussion around the scale of Resident Evil Requiem’s world. Previous reporting has indicated the game could include larger, more open levels, and this latest glimpse appears to reinforce that direction. However, Capcom has not confirmed whether the new environment represents a fully explorable hub or a more controlled narrative section.
Resident Evil Requiem stars Leon S. Kennedy alongside Grace Ashcroft, with each character reportedly offering a different gameplay focus. Leon’s sections are expected to lean toward traditional action-heavy survival horror, while Grace’s segments emphasize vulnerability and tension.
The game is scheduled to launch on February 27, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Capcom has not announced when additional gameplay details or trailers will be released.
