RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business is described as a standalone adventure that takes place after Rogue City. In many ways, I can’t help but feel like this would have worked if it were just paid DLC for the original. Maybe that was the initial intent. However, having reviewed the game to completion, I can see how it can make a case for being a standalone, albeit slightly.
In this Robocop Rogue City Unfinished Business trophy guide, I’ll tell you what you need to know to get all the trophies for this game and tie up loose ends. The mercenaries messed with the wrong precinct, and RoboCop will be taking them in, dead or alive.
There are 26 Trophies to earn while ascending to the upper floors of the OmniTower:

RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business is objectively one of the easier games to get the Platinum trophy on, considering you can get all the trophies on the first playthrough, with a few exceptions here and there. If all goes well, you can expect to unlock the Platinum trophies in more or less 12 hours. The vast majority of the trophies are acquired as you progress through the story. The most surprising thing is that all the Gold trophies are not challenge-based. They are all acquired from clearing quests, pure and simple.
The following trophies are missable for various reasons. You might not be paying attention at the time, or be unaware that you are even going after a trophy at all. In any case, some of these trophies might require you to restart the game from the start. So, it might be worth getting them over with on your first try.
The By the Book Silver trophy only asks you to score an “A” on any evaluation. To get an “A”, you must complete all possible quests in the level, find and open all the OCP stolen chests, and do all police work challenges. The requirement amount varies per level, so don’t be discouraged if you haven’t gotten that “A” up to that point.
The Part Man, Part Machine, All Correct Bronze trophy is unlocked after answering all of the fan’s questions after freeing him from a hostage situation. The fan will ask you three trivia questions based on events after the second movie.
There are answers to these questions:
- Answer 1: Metro West and Metro North
- Answer 2: OCP Crime Prevention Unit 001
- Answer 3: He became RoboCop 2
If you fail at any time, reload the autosave and save the fan again.
The Quicksilver Silver trophy can be acquired at the start of the second level. RoboCop falls into a trash compactor, and you’ll have a limited amount of time to shoot all the chains before the compactor crushes him. For this one, use the dash ability as soon as it is off cooldown. It’s quite easy once you know what you’re looking for, especially when warning lights are telling you where to aim. I’m not sure if focus mode helps or not; it might be a liability for all I know. But I was able to shut down the compactor relying only on my aim and the dash ability.
The Otomo prototype is a new enemy type first introduced in Unfinished Business. They are aggressive melee androids programmed to do one thing: slash at RoboCop with reckless abandon. They do a decent amount of damage and will kill you relatively quickly when in packs. They may seem intimidating at first, and will deflect your initial shots at them. But once they tire out, they go down in a couple of headshots.
There are a couple of trophies that are tied to killing the prototype in a specific way.
To unlock the Sayonara Bronze trophy, you simply need to pick a katana from a defeated Otomo and throw it at another Otomo. If you kill it with the katana, you will unlock the trophy. The Trash Day is a missable trophy if you’re actively tracking it. Done during the Steve escort mission in the ‘Lethal Gambit’ quest, all it requires you to do is to grab an Otomo and toss it into the trash compactor as it is closing. Too early, and it’ll fall into the pit and be destroyed. Also, this section will have Otomos spawning in groups. Thin out their numbers first, if you can.
The game is very true to form when it comes to RoboCop lore. In this case, I’m talking about the ED-209’s fatal weakness: stairs. As you’re listening to Miranda’s instructions during the ‘Urban Pacification’ quest, you’ll reach a part where the ED-209 is forced to take the long way around because the stairs are enough to destroy you. If you ignore Miranda’s directions and go towards the stairs, you will be able to watch a cutscene of RoboCop failing to learn from the lessons of the past. Doing so will unlock the Mind the Step! Bronze trophy.
The Miranda’s Secret Bronze trophy is another missable trophy that occurs relatively deep in the game. While you’re looking through Miranda’s office during the Ice and Steel quest, you are tasked to look for clues that’ll help you progress through the level. On the computer, you’ll find the digital message you’re looking for. If you choose to pick up the phone before looking up the computer, you might miss out on the message entirely.
This next trophy requires you to give a child a reality check. There are a couple of kids that you are supposed to help you in the game. One is in the homeless encampment, and the other is on the researchers’ floor. The trophy unlocks when you’ve given the most blunt response to their wide-eyed questions. (See the picture above for reference).
Like most trophies I’m talking about right now, these final two can be missed by accident. The Petting Protocol Activated Bronze trophy requires you to ‘pet a cat’. There are 3 or so instances in the civilian areas where you have the option of petting a cat. It’s hard to miss, especially if you’re curious about playing the petting animation.
The We Killed You! Silver trophy can only be unlocked during RoboCop’s flashback when he was still Alex Murphy. To unlock this trophy, simply die at the hands of the criminals. I actually had to load up a previous auto save when I realized that one of the trophies required me to die as a human. I almost lost out on a trophy for being too good at the Officer Murphy simulator. I jest.
And that’s everything I’ve for this RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business trophy guide. Hopefully, I managed to help you out in some shape or form. Do check out my review of the game and my content related to Rogue City.
