Psyonix has been active when it comes to Rocket League‘s awesome updates and content. They have been at it from the start – adding fun new game modes, car designs, and great downloadable content. Ever since its launch way back in 2015, Rocket League did not stop its momentum and is still a fun multiplayer experience across all platform.
The sheer number of 40 million players is combined from all platforms: the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In 2015, Rocket League launched exclusively for PC and the PS4 – where both platforms can meet-up and play through matchmaking or private matches. The Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch have the capability to play alongside each other through cross-platform play, however, the PS4 only ties itself with the PC platform.
Sirus Gaming gave Rocket League a solid 9 out of 10. “Overall, Rocket League is a fun and addicting sports game and a great eSports title addition. The game’s optimization is very impressive, core mechanics are easy to learn and to get by, and the stunning graphics which overlooks the lack of LAN feature and still makes this game a great candidate for Best Sports Game of 2015.” You can read the full PC review here.
