Last year, SEGA’s Ryu Ga Studios hinted at a new game being developed that features the combat system that was used in the previous Yakuza and Judgment games. With many realistic combat features and nostalgic references, the developers revealed during the Summer Game Fest their official game, known as Stranger Than Heaven.
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is a brand-new title developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, known for creating acclaimed series such as Yakuza, Like a Dragon, and Virtua Fighter.
The game is being developed and published by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio as a new standalone title separate from the Like a Dragon and Judgment series and is set in at least two time periods, 1915 and 1943, following the story of a man named Mako Daito.
Stranger Than Heaven release date has yet to be announced. More info about the game will be revealed soon by SEGA.
