Volition has officially revealed Saints Row A Song of Ice and Dust expansion release date.
Saints Row A Song of Ice and Dust Release Date
The third and final expansion for the Saints Row reboot, A Song of Ice and Dust, will be released on August 8, 2023, Volition revealed in an announcement. It will be released ahead of the upcoming Steam version launch of the game this coming August 24, 2023, which comes with a new activity for players to enjoy on all platforms.
What to Expect Next Week
A Song of Ice and Dust details have not been detailed yet by Volition but it did mention some of the new missions, new cosmetics, new weapons, new vehicles, and this short blurb: “When a crippling ambush decimates the Dustlanders, it’s up to fierce rivals Bossonius and Gwendolyn Firebird to join forces and defend The DustFaire from a new foe.” It is their own version of Game of Thrones and it is hilarious.
Possibly the Final Expansion
The Saints Row post-launch roadmap includes A Song of Ice and Dust and could finally bring to an end the major content additions to the reboot. After this, Volition might just be doing updates and minor add-ons in the future, but since this had a bad reception when it launched last year, it might be tough to come back from this.
Saints Row is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
