Bandai Namco Entertainment has recently announced that video game Scarlet Nexus PC is free-to-play on Steam this weekend.
Scarlet Nexus PC Free-to-Play This Weekend
According to a new post on Scarlet Nexus PC Steam page today, the game is now free to play this weekend. Steam users who have not purchased the game yet can now play the game in full with free access starting January 26, 2023 10 AM PST until January 30, 2023 10 AM PST only. Yes, it is only a limited time but it will grant you full access to the game and can even be completed within those days if they can do it.
Big Discounts for Interested Buyers
Aside from its free-to-play weekend promo, the game is now super discounted on Steam. All editions are now discounted by 75 percent ranging from $14.99 to $24.99 prices. The Standard and Ultimate Editions will be on sale until February 3, 2023 while the Deluxe Edition sale will end earlier on February 1, 2023. Almost all add-ons of the game are on sale too including the Season Pass. The only add-on that is not discounted is the Brain Eater Pack for some reason.
The Deluxe Edition includes the full game, digital soundtrack and artbook, special battle attire set (red), additional attachment (The Other), and three S.A.S. Plug-In Variations. The Ultimate Edition includes all contents of the Deluxe Edition plus the Season Pass.
Take Advantage of the Offer
While the safest bet to play the game is the free playable demo with a smaller downloadable size, playing the game for free this weekend would give Steam users a better advantage as they could complete the game AND unlock achievements at the same time.
Scarlet Nexus is set in the far distant future where humans have discovered a psionic hormone in the brain that grants them extra-sensory powers. Deranged mutants also appeared with this evolution and it is up to the Other Suppression Force to stop these monsters from terrorizing humanity.
