Silent Hill Plans by Konami Could Include Remake and More

New rumors abound and reports possibly confirming remake and more.

A new report revealed possible plans of Konami for new Silent Hill titles.

A new report by Twitter user NateTheHate2 and Jeff Grubb revealed some interesting new information about the rumored new Silent Hill game and in fact, it will not be just one game at all. According to media outlet VGC and its sources, the upcoming remake will have reworked AI, animations, puzzles and new endings. Also, this will be a remake of popular video game Silent Hill 2. It is also rumored that it will be a timed exclusive on the PlayStation consoles.

It has been rumored that The Medium creators, Bloober, is working on this remake, but nothing has been confirmed yet. There has been news about them having a strategic cooperation agreement with Konami. Its CEO has claimed that they are working an existing horror game and it is from a very famous gaming publisher. While it is quite obvious already, both Bloober and Konami have not made any comments to make it obviously confirmed.

Silent Hill Composer Akira Yamaoka worked with Bloober for The Medium’s OST and he teased something. He revealed that the next game project is something that everyone has been waiting for.

Aside from the remake, Nate and Grubb reported that there are multiple Silent Hill projects in development. This also includes a new mainline entry and other side story games.

Nothing has been confirmed yet so take this with a grain of salt.
