SEGA has recently announced the Sonic Frontiers free DLC with details.
It was revealed that SEGA is planning to release three Sonic Frontiers free DLC updates for the game starting next year. These plans are confirmed but could change at any time, but the content for the first update has been revealed already. It will introduce a photo mode, jukebox, and new challenge modes.
The second update will include Sonic’s Birthday, which still has no details. It could be an event focusing on Sonic. Aside from that, there will be an open zone challenge and new Koco.
Update 3’s new content is the most desirable yet as it will include new playable characters. The announcement post features Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. It also features the Sage which could mean she could become a playable character too, but it is not confirmed yet. There is also new story content.
Sonic Frontiers is now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
