Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a new virtual experience, Horizon Call of the Mountain, to go along with their new PSVR2. Created by Guerrilla and Firespite Games, Horizon Call of the Mountain has been designed to push hardware technology, innovation, and gameplay. The stunning visuals and brand-new PSVR2 Sense controllers give a new meaning to being fully immersed into the world of Horizon.

Unfortunately, the team doesn’t want to reveal too much just yet. As for right now though, the only thing we’re told is that the new story will be told through the eyes of an entirely new character.

“You will also meet Aloy, other familiar faces, and new characters along the way,” commented Jan-Bart van Beek, studio director, “and we’ll be introducing you to the protagonist of Horizon Call of the Mountain soon.”

“We’re looking forward to welcoming VR fans into our wonderful Horizon community, and giving you all an unforgettable experience.”

Horizon Forbidden West is set to launch on February 18th, 2022. With the news of Call of the Mountain, we get to see another side of the world of Horizon like never before.
