Square Enix Not Holding Any Online Event To Replace Cancelled E3 2020 Show

Game company Square Enix recently revealed their plans during the supposed-to-be E3 2020 show.

Square Enix plans for next month

The game company has revealed that it will not hold any online events during the E3 period this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff is not able to prepare for any event due to the virus and the state of emergency Japan is in right now. Instead of a full show with all of the upcoming titles, it will just announce new games on an individual basis.

Square Enix said it won't hold online event to unveil this FY's new releases around E3's timing because making assets ready for such show has become difficult due to Covid-19. Instead, it will announce new titles on individual basis.

There is no problem though because it will give a showcase of titles this coming Tokyo Game Show 2020 online event. It is still too bad that there will be no collective reveals next month. We will just have to wait for the TGS 2020 online event then.
