Bethesda just dropped a new Starfield patch update that adds one of the most requested features lacking from its release on September 6, 2023.
The latest Starfield patch update 1.7.36 highlights the latest addition of a Field of View slider, or some may know it as FOV, across all platforms for first-person and third-person view. Some players were disappointed with the absence of an FOV slider when Starfield launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S, at least players won’t have to rely on external mods to get this feature.
In addition to the FOV slider, the patch notes stated “various additional stability and performance improvements” and improved stability exclusively for Intel Arc graphics cards. Furthermore, this patch update addresses an issue with the “Echoes of the Past” mission, where tunneling creatures could choose an area that would prevent players from finishing the quest.
