Last EVO Japan 2023, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed two gameplay trailers and one of them is the Tekken 8 Leroy Smith gameplay trailer.
Asuka Kazama and Leroy Smith were both announced as part of the EVO Japan 2023 announcements last weekend. The first one to be introduced was Leroy with a new outfit layered with so much gold trimmings all over it. He also comes with his awesome pitbull dog with his costume.
Popularized by the movie series Ip-Man, Leroy is a master of Wing Chun and he dishes it out easily on his opponents in this gameplay trailer. After debuting last Tekken 7, he still uses the same fast and short-ranged attacks that can juggle enemies to kingdom come. He does have new attacks too and his rage art is one-inch punch, another famous technique that Bruce Lee used when he was alive.
Leroy’s famous theme song in Tekken 7 does not show up though and has been replaced by a new one.
Tekken 8 still has no official release date and will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
