The Elder Scrolls 6 Not Coming to PS5

These new court documents finally make it clear.

A new report revealed that The Elder Scrolls 6 will not be coming to PS5.

With Microsoft buying Bethesda back in 2021, it has been one of the biggest questions of fans what would happen to the exclusivity of the most anticipated Bethesda upcoming games, The Elder Scrolls 6. Xbox Chief Phil Spencer has not made any clarifications on this, stating that the decision has not been made yet, but this new document revelation has made it clear.

Axios reporter Stephen Totilo recently posted on Twitter a newly unsealed documented that got lifted from the Federal Trade Commission vs. Microsoft trial over the Activision Blizzard deal. This featured a list of announced Bethesda together with their platforms and release windows.

One of the titles listed was The Elder Scrolls 6 and it clearly states on the document that it will not launch on PS5. It will instead be released on Xbox and PC only. While that is good news for Xbox and PC fans, there was no release date posted, only TBC, but it is expected that it will be released in 2026 or even later. Note that these unsealed documents were used in a court trial so they are reliable and factual.

Microsoft has not made any statements to confirm or deny this new document.
