The Last of Us Part 1: Chapter 10 (or Bus Depot) is broken up into two parts: Highway Exit and Underground Tunnel. Read on, and we’ll break down exactly when and where each collectible can be found, from start to finish.
All Bus Depot Collectibles Locations
There are 3 Artifacts, 3 Firefly Pendants, 1 Training Manual, 2 Comics and 1 Tool Upgrade that you can find in The Last of Us Part 1 Bus Depot.
As such, these are all the Bus Depot collectibles you can obtain in sequence:
- Family Photograph
- Perich’s Firefly Pendant
- Note to Wife

Family Photograph
To begin the chapter, make your way through the abandoned vehicles on the highway. An ambulance will be on your left. Afterwards, you’ll see an RV with its door wide open.
Head inside the RV and find the Family Photograph artifact by the sink.
Perich’s Firefly Pendant
A short distance farther on, you will reach an exit ramp. You’ll spot a yellow school bus to your left.
Make a U-turn and look for Perich’s Firefly Pendant on the pavement next to some orange barrels.
Note to Wife
As soon as you have jumped over the bus and dropped into the quarantine area, enter the bus terminal ahead of you.
Once inside, turn to the left and proceed down the stairs. You’ll find the Note to Wife artifact amid a stack of suitcases.
Precipitate Comic
Once you’ve finished looking at the giraffe herd, you’ll make your way back down the stairs.
Then, as you reach the bottom, turn right and head inside a bathroom. You’ll find the Precipitate Comic on the floor in front of the sitting corpse.
Tools Level 5
You’ll inevitably come to a triage area with multiple medical tents.
Explore the biggest tent first (second from the left). You’ll find the Tools level 5 on a table to the right as you walk in.
Nicole Hoo’s Firefly Pendant
From the largest tent, proceed left and continue walking until you reach a green tent with lights in front of it.
Hanging from the light fixture in the lamp’s lower right corner is Nicole Hoo’s Firefly Pendant.
Salt Lake Q.Z. Map
Now turn around and walk across the street to the right and you’ll see yet another tent set up next to a building.
You’ll find the Salt Lake Q.Z. Map artifact on a table inside along with a workbench.
Joel & Sarah Photo
Ellie will run up to Joel right before they leave the triage area and tell him she has something for him.
After that, you’ll notice a prompt to Interact with Ellie and receive the Joel & Sarah Photo artifact.
Natalie Hoo’s Firefly Pendant
After you crawl through the bus blocking the exit to the triage area, you’ll be on another street.
turn around past the yellow bus ahead and check behind it, you’ll find Natalie Hoo’s Firefly Pendant on the ground by the bushes.
Bomb Shrapnel Training Manual
As you head down the underground tunnel, Ellie and Joel will eventually reach a section where you can see two bloaters.
Look for the truck based on the image, then climb on top of it to collect the Bomb Shrapnel Training Manual
Catalysis Comic
A little bit further ahead, after you’ve swum underwater and drop the ladder from the down to Ellie, you’ll spot air ducts along the left wall.
Run on top of the air ducts and you’ll eventually find the Catalysis Comic at the end before jumping.
