After the bad backlash from day one, Naughty Dog quickly dishes out The Last of Us Part 1 PC hotfix today.
Fans were really happy that The Last of Us Part 1 PC was finally gracing the platform they liked, but unfortunately, it had a lot of problems when it landed on day one. It quickly got backlash after many PC players tried it out on their favorite digital storefront. Due to that, Naughty Dog jumped into action to patch all those holes up before it got worse.
Today, a new hotfix finally was released. Update v1.0.1.5 has been rolled out on PC today and it fixes some of the day one problems, Naughty Dog claims. The post says that the fix primarily focuses on stability and performance improvements.
Naughty Dog’s team is now investigating those known issues and will be releasing more updates in the future. Hopefully, they could stamp out all of those nasty problems right away because these bugs take players out of the immersion and that leaves them with bad feedback.
Patch Notes
- Fixed several performance & hitch related issues impacting some users.
- Note: Additional improvements and investigations based on user feedback are underway.
- Added extra crash diagnostic information to assist in investigating shader building related crashes and other common reported stability issues.
The Last of Us Part 1 is out now on PC and PS5.
