Wondering how to obtain all of The Last of Us Part 1 Quarantine Zone Collectibles? Here, we’ll show you where to look for every memento you can find as you explore the post-apocalyptic cities of America.
Firefly Pendants, comics, artifacts, and training manuals are the four main categories of collectibles in Naughty Dog’s zombie masterpiece, and getting your hands on each and every one of them is essential if you want to round out your already magnificent trophy collection.
The Last of Us Part 1: Chapter 2 (or The Quarantine Zone) is broken up into four parts: 20 Years Later, Beyond the Wall, The Slums, and The Cargo. Read on, and we’ll break down exactly when and where each collectible can be found, from start to finish.
How to View Collectibles in The Last of Us Part 1 Remake?
In-game, you can access the collectibles menu by pressing the Touchpad and then using the R1 Button to navigate through the collectibles you’ve found.
You will be able to do this only after prologue, when you have obtained Joel’s backpack – After you have followed Tess through the streets to the checkpoint, you will then enter an apartment building. Then you’ll eventually have to move an object so that you can take a secret passage through the wall.
All Quarantine Zone Collectibles Locations
The Last of Us Part 1 Quarantine Zone contains 7 Artifacts and 3 Firefly Pendants (does not include any training manuals, comics, or tool upgrades).
These are the Quarantine Zone Artifacts and Pendants you can collect in sequence:
- Military Pamphlet
- Boston Q.Z. Map
- Vigil’s Firefly Pendant
- Note to Brother
- Glueck’s Firefly Pendant
- Drafting Notice
- Wanted Poster
- Shipping Manifest
- Dock Notes
- Liu’s Firefly Pendant
Military Pamphlet
You’ll automatically get the Military Pamphlet artifact once you’ve found and equipped Joel’s Backpack.
Boston Q.Z. Map
You’ll automatically get the Boston Q.Z. Map artifact as well once you’ve found and equipped Joel’s Backpack.
Vigil’s Firefly Pendant
You can find a ladder (essential to progress through the story) across the square as you exit the pizza shop. This will lead you into an abandoned house.
After that, walk past the room with a pool table, and past the stairs to find a large bedroom with two mattresses on the floor. You’ll find the Vigil’s Firefly Pendant on the floor, by the desk.
Note to Brother
Once you’ve dealt with the infected, head up the stairs to your left.
At the top, before leaving the abandoned house, go left and open the door. You’ll find the Note to Brother Artifact on a table inside the room.
Glueck’s Firefly Pendant
After assisting Tess placing a wooden plank and making your way out of the building, you will come to a set of stairs. Follow Tess down the stairs.
Following that, you’ll need to make a quick hop over an obstruction, crouch your way through some shrubs, and then emerge into an open area with a Tree standing in the center. You’ll find Glueck’s Firefly Pendant Hanging from one of it’s branches, Shoot it down so you can collect it.
Drafting Notice
After Joel and Tess bribe a kid to get them into the alley, they have to go through the bus and eventually reach a stall.
You’ll find the Drafting Notice artifact on the ground near the table, along with some other scattered papers.
Wanted Poster
Just a few steps past the previous artifact, walk a little bit further and you’ll see a bulletin board beside a fence. Go near it and collect the Wanted Poster artifact.
Shipping Manifest
After using the chain to open the rolling steel door, you’ll enter a cutscene in which you find Robert. Both Joel and Tess will immediately leap from the ledge and seek cover.
The Shipping Manifest will then be visible on the ground to your right, close to the railing.
Dock Notes
Once you have the Shipping Manifest artifact, proceed going right until you reach a port where a red boat is docked.
You’ll find the Docks Note artifact lying on the ground beside a blue dumpster.
Liu’s Firefly Pendant
After Ellie has joined you, you’ll be in a big courtyard with several dead people ahead of you.
Once you regain control, proceed to the body resting against the dispensers to collect Liu’s Firefly Pendant.
