A new rumor has revealed that Naughty Dog might be in the middle of developing The Last of Us Part II Director’s Cut.
The rumor comes from Twitter user Rino who reported that there will be a new version of the second entry to The Last of Us series. He stated that this was reported by the same source who accurately leaked The Last of Us Part I, which seems to have credit.
Another reason for this new rumor to be true is PS5 Enhanced Performance Patch video on YouTube got suspiciously removed by PlayStation. There seems to be a reason for its quiet removal and this could be it. The Director’s Cut might be the new edition that will include the enhancement with various new additions too.
As for the specifics of the possible new additions for this new edition, Rino has not shared any details on that. There could be extra content and more enhancements coming but the Enhanced Performance Patch will surely be included.
Since there is no official confirmation from Naughty Dog, take this rumor with a grain of salt.
