Ubisoft Makes Changes for Collector’s Edition for the Xbox Side

Game company Ubisoft is making some changes to the nature of the Collector’s Edition for the Xbox versions of several games.

    Assassin's creed Valhalla

According to the Ubisoft support page, upcoming games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Watch Dogs: Legion Collector’s Editions for Xbox One and Xbox Series X will only have a digital code. Owners will have to redeem the game on Xbox Live instead of having a physical disc.

PlayStation versions seem to be safe from this change. Players can choose between a physical disc or a digital code for their Collector’s Edition.

The changes are already taking effect on several retailers like Amazon and the official Ubisoft Store. The game company did not provide an explanation for this change.

Some Xbox fans are furious of this since some of them obviously would want to collect a physical copy of the game and not the digital version. Others are okay with this move because they can enjoy lower prices for Collector’s Edition and less items to worry about.
