Remember the vigilante who’s focused on getting revenge in the city of Chicago? If you know who, then you’re in luck. Ubisoft’s 2014 release, Watch_Dogs, is going free starting today. But here’s the catch, it’s not on Steam, rather the game is free of charge over at U-Play, Ubisoft’s own digital platform similar to EA’s Origin.
However, only the PC version goes free today. And there is no definite date when Ubisoft will pull the “free” tag off of Watch_Dogs, but it’s likely that the publisher wants players who skipped the first game for Watch_Dogs 2 to get into the hacker world in its first entry.
Sirus Gaming reviewed Watch_Dogs and gave the game a solid 7.5/10. The review stated that it has a lot to offer in terms of gameplay and replayability, but with the visual downgrade it was a big bummer.
