Ultron Brings A New Age to Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals’ latest season is full of exciting combat gameplay and matches that fans are getting addicted to. With many heroes and villains either teaming up or fighting against each other, the possibilities are endless. Recently, a new trailer was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Marvel Rivals, and it features the debut of Ultron.

The mechanical monstrosity called Ultron is an artificial intelligence fueled by rage whose purpose consists of causing pain to organic life, especially Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers. Built by Hank Pym, Ultron sees his creator as a father figure to be destroyed. Ultron’s self-adaptive nature led him to update himself to new versions in different attempts to hurt the Avengers. Among his many evil feats, he reformed the Masters of Evil, conceived the Vision to kill his enemies, crafted an indestructible body using Adamantium, obliterated the country of Slorenia, and destabilized weather patterns and technology all over the globe.

In Marvel Rivals, Ultron is considered to be a long-range type Strategist who is capable of supporting characters outside his proximity. His basic attack is similar to Emma Frost which deals a continuous burst of laser damage, but his range is longer than hers.

Imperative Patch is a healing skill capable of healing your teammates even if they are far away. Characters like Venom, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and other fast-paced or flying characters will benefit well from this ability.

His ultimate ability calls various Ultron drones and unleashes a barrage of Encephalo-Rays with what appears to be an AoE splash effect, dealing heavy damage to enemies while healing nearby teammates. This type of attack is perfect when wanting to become very aggressive against incoming enemies who wish to block your path.

Marvel Rivals’ next update will be released on May 30, 2025. Download the game and play for free on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games.
