Did A Voice Actor Really Leak GTA 6 on Facebook?

Rockstar Games still has not released anything official on GTA 6, or on any new installment of the Grand Theft Auto series. However, a deleted post by a voice actor seemingly confirms that there is indeed at the least an ongoing development of a GTA-related game.

According to Game Rant, voice actor Dave Jackson said that he had been hired to play a character named “Captain McClane” in a “new” Grand Theft Auto game. While he didn’t exactly say that it was specifically for Grand Theft Auto 6, it did get rumors running.

Furthermore, the voice actor further claimed that the producers of the game had no problem with him outing the details of his current work when comments questioned him about existing non-disclosure agreements between him and the game developer.

“As long as I don’t give out plot points it’s all good,” Jackson is quoted by Push Square as saying.

Given the casual tone of what seems to be a spoiler, it is also possible that Jackson was hired for content related to Grand Theft Auto Online instead of GTA 6. Game Rant noted that the industry have been waiting for an update on a rumored “Cops and Crooks” DLC for GTAO for several months now.
