Game company Microsoft has recently reported the latest number of subscribers for subscription service Xbox Game Pass.
According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in a new financial data and statistics report, Xbox Game Pass has gotten 18 million subscribers in the second quarter of 2021. This is quite an achievement for the game company and such a leap from its September 2020 report, which was about 15 million subscribers.
With its opportunistic offers of allowing subscribers to try out popular and newly released game for a limited time, many fans and newbies were highly interested in joining and renewing their membership. It gains six million average subscribers per year.
Aside from that, Xbox Live has gotten 100 million monthly active subscribers and still growing. Despite its earlier controversy, it is still gaining more subscribers to this day.
Xbox Game Pass is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Android, and PC.
