Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Trial Reduces Time Length

From a month to less than half of it.

Xbox Game Pass

A new report has revealed that the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Trial has reduced its length.

The introductory offer originally let players get their first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass for $1, which was great for those who want to try out the service. This was a big advantage for fans of Xbox and it ran for several years until Microsoft decided to stop the service a few months ago in March 2023. It was “evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future.” This devastated a lot of fans since it was one way to get their friends to join Xbox Game Pass and continue the service in the future.

The ending of the trial service did not last long and actually came back last month to the delight of many. Now, it seems another hurdle has come and this comes from Microsoft again, which might anger some fans.

Polish publication site XGP found out that the Polish Xbox site was offering just 15 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate rather than a month. It was confirmed by other gaming sites that the offer has changed accordingly in other regions too. It now has 14 days for $1 instead of a month.

As of July 6, 2023, the prices of Xbox Game Pass in certain nations have risen from $9.99 to $10.99. Countries excluded are Norway, Chile, Denmark, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
