Microsoft just announced that AMD Radeon’s FreeSync technology is going to come to its home consoles – specifically the Xbox One S and the Xbox One X.
For those who don’t know what FreeSync is, this is one of the features that AMD graphics cards have. This negates all choppy gameplay, frame issues, and image tearing from your monitor. According to a report made by GamingBolt, the Xbox One systems will get support for FreeSync 2 this Spring. However, the report did not state if the original Xbox One will support the feature.
With the PS4 Pro’s supersampling mode update, Microsoft’s Xbox One S and X will get its own unique feature and that’s going to be FreeSync.
